Mall Mall-2

Mall-4Chris had a rock bottom closet moment yesterday=it has been 2 years since we went clothes shopping and everything was faded and shrunken.

We literally updated his wardrobe by purchasing the EXACT same clothes in today’s versions. Black polos are a bit longer now and blue shorts are a tad shorter. We are the same people.

What did I buy? Nothing. Why? I’m a ninja.

I live in a black moby wrap on top of a Target black tank and Old Navy black maxi skirt that is super pilly. Chris said I need an attachment for a sword.

I’ll buy some clothes in about 17 pounds. Yay.

  • Haha! But you sure are a pretty ninja!

  • That’s how we shop too…same things but in the current version of whatever year we shop. Haha, a good was the stay timeless I guess. What a sweet family you three are!

  • Jessica

Don’t worry about the 17 lbs I am sure it will be gone in no time. And by the way how awesome are ninjas?!

  • You are the hottest mama ninja I know! You rock my friend! 🙂

  • i bet you look like a super cute ninja though!

    • I was hoping for sexy ninja but I will gladly accept cute ninja. I need a band called Ninja Girls. My sister can be Baby Ninja. Scary and Sporty are up for grabs.

  • Herchel S

    Lol…ninja skills

  • You are amazing and made me laugh 🙂 Black is classy and the baby weight will go…

    • LOL, thank you Andrea. I like to think of myself like one of those silk rope hanging performers when I unravel out of that moby wrap. A good imaginations makes it fun.

  • But you look great in a maxi!!! Don’t sweat the pounds girl – you should have at least one piece that you feel beautiful in.

    • Thanks, Ashley! I have a few things that fit that I can easily breastfeed in and I’m saving them for some outings this weekend. 🙂 I really do have a limited wardrobe and I kind of enjoy another area of minimalism in my life….but, hey, I can’t wait to treat myself to some cute clothes in the future!!!

  • Well it’s a good thing black looks really good on you 🙂 That last pic is really sweet!

    Rowena @ rolala loves

    • Thank you, Rowena! I always thought black was not my color and I wear SO much white. Now, I’m trying to blend into the background! I may go toward cream though soon…spit up camouflage! 🙂

  • Nicole B.

At least you’re a comfortable ninja! You guys getting any sleep? Hoping so!

    Much love,

    Nicole B.

    • Girl, I am too comfortable, Nicole! I now have a phobia of pants, heels and denim. Hopefully that will subside with the pounds! 🙂 We are sleeping more overall but there are those days! It’s a roller coaster. A really cute roller coaster with chubby cheeks.

  • Jen Kleiner

You make me laugh so hard. I love you, Ninja mom!

  • Awwww, hang in there girl! I had to still wear my maternity clothes for about a month after I had Taylor! Also, I am also a ninja! I just used that phrase to describe my style last night! For me it is a New York City thing. We all wear black head to toe year round. Sometimes I am colorful but for my daily 9-5 in Manhattan I wear all black errerythang. It is slimming and looks chic and streamlined. Hope you are feeling well! xo

    • LOl. I totally love that about New York. I always love that Agelina Jolie-white or black only style. Tank tops have never flattered me but it’s too hot with the baby and the weather here so I must. 🙂 Ninjas forever! lol
