It is a brand new year. Are you looking to reinvent yourself in any way? Is there something you or just a part of yourself wants to be?

YES! I am truly enjoying my life as a mother now. That is in full swing and so wonderful and now I am now a photographer as well! Here is a little shoot I did with my captive model. MWAHAHAHAH. I hope you join me on this journey!

PLEASE share with me what reinventions you are exploring!!!!!

  • he is the cutest and congrats on the new photography business – sounds amazing!

    • Thank you, Jackie! The photography biz is so amazing! I am so happy to have found it! Yay!!

  • First of all, he is gorgeous and incredibly sweet and irresistible, and if you lived closer I would totally offer to babysit (as might my teen, who peeked over my shoulder and said “ah, cute baby!” 🙂 )

Second, and in answer to your question, I don’t know if this counts as a reinvention, but I have resolved to be more ME. What I mean is, strive for improvement without disparaging what’s already there, creating something new and exciting while also appreciating the little beautiful bits in my everyday life, and doing my best and focusing on what I love and what makes me happy, without comparing any of that to someone else’s. I haven’t been doing all of that, so it is a reinvention of sorts, even if I am just striving for being more true to myself 🙂

I hope you are having a lovely Sunday, Christina!!

    • HA! Elisa!!! We could use a babysitter!!! 🙂 Thank you! I LOVE your reinvention! Being oneself is sometimes more challenging than it seems, yes? I check in sometimes with this as well. I get caught up in pleasing people and then find that I’m unhappy as a result! Thank you for sharing!!! I’m excited to hear the process!!

  • I am working on being more organized and not procrastinating… we’ll see how it goes! 🙂
By the way- your model is a little stud! So cute!!

    • Oh that is a great one, Abby! I could use some help with the procrastinating thing! AH! I’m so into how I feel about things instead of just getting down to it. It must be the hormones. LOL

  • Oh and I forget to mention that I am in love with Grant. Such a sweet baby! Your pictures are amazing.

    • So sweet, Andrea! Thank you! YOU and your family look incredible!!! How do you do it!? We are wearing flannel and hand combing our hair in the car! LOL

  • I am with you on the mother journey. Reinventing myself everyday since life with a baby is so full of new experiences. Not a boring day this year 🙂

    • OH, Andrea!! You know! I have to say that I’m a completely different person than I was a few months ago! So true about daily changes! Thank you!

  • Your photography is getting better and better. These pictures are gorgeous and I’m not just saying that because I think he’s adorable!

    • Thank you very much, Thien! It is one of the most challenging things out there, yes?

  • Okay, he is BEYOND gorgeous. I’m sorry, but your babe totally distracted me from what you wrote! 😉

  • These are beautiful Christina! You have the best little model 🙂

    Rowena @ rolala loves

    • Thank you, Rowena! I hope to have many more…”models.” Ahahahahah

  • These are just stunning–so beautiful!

    • Thank you, Chelsea! I’m so addicted to photography! I’m basically making flip books over here! HA! I have become my father!
